Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) provide the ability to easily install a monitoring solution. No cabling is required and based on mesh-technologies (such as IEEE 802.15.4 Zigbee) the network is set-up and managed at very low total cost of ownership (TCO).

 

Mesh-networks can operate at 2.4 GH, 868 MHz or in 433 MHz, depending on the type of application. Mesh-networks can contain a variety of sensors such as temperature, humidity, contact, light, IR, etc. Mesh-networks are highly scalable and can be installed in truck-trailer combinations, warehouses, hospitals industrial environments, etc.
